On May 8th, 2019, I made my 40th trip around The Sun ! I'm still unclear where and how the time whizzed by, but I'm happy to be here. I'm in a space cushioned in multiple layers of gratefulness, satisfaction, excitement, wisdom, contentment and a whole lotta other stuff. At the present, I'm in a slightly sweet pocket. Life for me ain’t been no crystal stair. It’s had tacks in it, and splinters, and boards torn up, and places with no carpet on the floor—Bare. But all the time... I'm still outchea. (Langston Hughes on that Alley-Oop... lol ). So yeah, by no means have I "arrived", but I'm at a comfy place in my journey. I'm young enough to still be "poppin " but old enough to be cool with not being a part of everything "poppin". I'm old enough to know better, and young enough to still not give a damn and do it anyway. Auntie status on the inside but the youngins are still checkin for me (okuurrrr). Call it homeostasis, if you will. I'm also young enough to still be photogenic and old enough to let the pros take the wheel and shoot the shots. 

Creative Control with Creative Soul:

My closest friends will vouch for the fact that I can be a complete control freak about things... (le sigh .. I'm workin on it). Blame it on my Taurean, Earth signed, grounded nature. Either way, I DO, CAN, and WILL, let my guard down for extra special folks. Creative Soul is some'a them extra special folks.  Regis & Kahran Bethencourt are an insanely talented couple. These artists obsessed with unique, visual storytelling, create jaw-dropping photos of Frobabies all over the globe. They even have a whole coffee table book about it! This dynamic duo typically subscribes to shooting children but I buttered Kahran up  (hehe) and managed to get a photoshoot. Look at Gawd! I made it to the yellow couch! Momma, I MADE IT!

Kahran and I love each other and we're birthday sisters so that helped, too.

Taurus Season Babyyyyyyy........ 

I'm currently in process on finessing Kahran for my pregnancy announcement pics and baby reveal photos. She's not budging, but I still have time.  I AIN'T EVEN PREGNANT.... YET. With proper persisitence ,patience and preperation, I'll wear her down....lol.... I can feel it! (inside joke)

It's at this point where I ain't got much else to say.These final shots left me pinching myself trying to decipher if that was actually ME. My fantasy hair was crafted by the eclectically faboulous Shanna Anise  and my make-up artist, Keya, legit put me to sleep with her gentle butterfly handed beat. The expericene was priceless. The entire vibe was an ecxceptional way to usher in numero 40. From the super year old beaded thrift store gown I forgot I had to the kimono from Abielle Creations,  to the sequin pants I was randomly gifted to the hodpodge of accessory heaven.... It all came together, seamlessly...  We all had a vison but didn't have a real plan.  We flowed, organically. I love a good flow without the force. Gotta love the magic that's created when Creative Souls come together.
